Meeting Recap
Last week's meeting featured a lightning talk by simonep#8831, on the topic of DAO tooling. The talk video and slides are available in the new 1729/community repo on Github.
Announcements
There's a new github.com/1729/community repo for lightning talks, community guides, and other supporting materials. I'll be adding to it as we go, and I'll also be taking pull requests for corrections, additions, and other improvements.
1729The next 1729 Writer's cohort is coming up in a month or so, but in the interim they'll still keep writing. So keep an eye on that thread if you're interested and considering joining, because it'll still be active.

Calls to Action
Once we get the tech in place, we're going to ask members to upload short videos of themselves responding to a few questions. Here are some questions that'll likely be in the batch, so be thinking about these and stay tuned for a channel-wide announcement in #lectures:
- What first drew you to 1729? What specifically about the project or about Balaji's work stood out to you?
- "Truth, health, wealth" – what do these terms mean to you? You can be as abstract or specific as you like. This is an open-ended question, so have fun with it.
- What role could you see yourself playing in a future network state. Or, maybe a better way to put it is, what kind of tag would you put on your own profile in a DAO dashboard? Examples might be: founder, academic, operator, engineer, hacker, writer, community manager, visual artist, designer. Why that role?
- Talk a bit about the last 1729-related or -aligned book you read. Why did you pick that one? Any big take-aways you can share?
- Have you been involved in any kind of network-state-like community, before? Maybe a hacker house, or other intentional community of some kind.
I imagine people wouldn't have to answer all of the questions – it might be like a "pick any 3" thing. Also, the interviews should be time-limited to 5 minutes, so we can't ask too many.
